Our Policies- Bunny Trail Farm

All sales are on a first come-first serve basis. You may call to inquire and
schedule an appointment to purchase a rabbit posted for sale based on
availability. Please call promptly as rabbits sell very quickly after they are
posted for sale. Feel free to come and look at the rabbits or babies that are for
sale without obligation to purchase one. No deposits excepted on pregnant
does or unborn kits.

Holding Policy:

We will hold a rabbit with a 1/2 due total amount deposit. If after two weeks &/or
baby weaning date which is at 6 weeks of age you fail to pick up your rabbit,
the rabbit will be up for resale and you will NOT be refunded your deposit.

Full payment in cash or check is due at time of final sale.

No sales to children under 18 years of age without an adult present.

Please do not have your children call or ask me to speak with your child unless
they are old enough to understand what they purchasing. Purchasing a pet
rabbit is a serious commitment that requires an adults permission before
purchasing.

NO SHIPPING RABBITS! All rabbits must be picked up at our rabbitry by the
customer who purchased the rabbit (s). We cannot meet you somewhere to
drop off a rabbit.

We reserve the right to refuse a sale of a rabbit for any reason.

Because rabbits that are purchased leave our care and environment it is
difficult for us to offer any extensive warranty in that we cannot control what
happens after they are purchased. However we will work with our customers
when problems arise at our discretion.

Health Guarantee:

All rabbits come with a 2 week health guarantee. If a rabbit dies 2 weeks after
purchase, we will replace the rabbit unless a Veterinarian determines that the
rabbit died due to a condition that developed due to lack of care by the
customer. If after taking your rabbit to a veterinarian and a health problem
other than caused by customer is diagnosed in writing we will replace the rabbit
or refund your purchase price.

Show & Breeding:
Show quality is not implied and cannot be guaranteed in a junior rabbit (under
6 months old). Breeding ability is not guaranteed in a rabbit that is not proven.
Proven means a senior rabbit over 6 months of age that has previously raised
successfully a litter. We do not sell rabbits for show, breeding, or 4-h. Rabbits
are for pet only and do not come with pedigree although they are pure-bred.
Upon request we will show you the pedigree of the dam and sire to prove they
are pure bred.

Determining Gender:
If a baby is sold and turns out to be a different gender, I will replace the bunny
if the owner prefers another sex up to 2 weeks after purchase. Absolute
gender determined is not implied.

Disposition:
Rabbits sold are handled from birth to socialize them properly in the first 6
weeks of their life. If a rabbit purchased shows signs of aggression up to two
weeks after purchase, we will replace the rabbit or refund the purchase price.
